Black Rabbit Campout is a grassroots Ontario EDM Festival hosted by Ottawa’s underground dance community, and open to all. Join us for 3 days and 3 nights of music, connection, and celebration in nature in South Algonquin, Ontario (165 km from Ottawa | 325km Toronto | 360km from Montreal)

This years campout will be on a beautiful peace of land, and we will once again have THREE AREAS for music and dancing, with multiple electronic genres
We are offering FREE Camping Friday & Saturday night included in all General Admission tickets, with acres of shaded woodland to set up your tent.
This year we are also offering an optional Sunday Night Sleepover Movie Night Add-On. Relax and decompress with us while we put off returning to the real world for an extra night!
We will also be offering limited RV & Car Camping Add-On passes for those looking for a little extra comfort!

Add-Ons
SUNDAY SLEEPOVER MOVIE NIGHT:$40 + HST/fees per person
Extend your stay on the property until Monday at noon! Enjoy every minute of our Sunday musical programming without worry of rushing to pack up or being too tired driving home.
Join us Sunday night after our music programming ends, and lounge with all the rabbits under the stars while we screen a movie double feature, projected on a screen outdoors with sound through one of our stage PA's.
RV CAMPING PASS: $139 + HST/fees
Limited RV Camping Pass Add-on is purchased IN ADDITION TO your General Admission tickets, and provides a spot for a SMALL to MEDIUM RV (20 feet length or less, please).
CAR CAMPING PASS: $89 + HST/fees [SOLD OUT]
Limited Car Camping Pass Add-on is purchased IN ADDITION TO your General Admission tickets, and provides a reserved drive-up camping spot for 1 vehicle and your tent.
Please note: For RV camping and Car Camping there is NO water NO Sanitation NO electric hookup, so please be prepared!

After an incredible number of applications, all of our volunteer positions have been filled for 2026!
Our volunteer program offers a chance to be part of something extraordinary while immersing yourself in a vibrant music, dance, and community atmosphere.
It also provides a platform for personal growth and meaningful connections, connecting you with influential businesses and industry people!
Everything from tending our communal fire, keeping our site green and clean, helping park cars, setting up/tearing down, and being a vital member of our vibe patrol - our community needs you!

Our Community
Black Rabbit Campout is not a corporate money grab. Our organizers and volunteers are all long-time members of our grassroots community. We've shared many a dancefloor together, and we can't with to do it again with you in the great outdoors, among the trees, and under the stars!
Getting ready for the weekend
What to Wear
Come as you as but remember… it is September in Canada!!! We are all hoping for sun, but think of clouds, rains, snow (?), wind, cold, flies, and ticks!
Dress comfortably and safely.
What to bring
Bring everything you need to be comfortable for three days camping in the woods.
That includes camping supplies, food, water, clothing. We will have cold non-alcoholic drinks for sale on site and vendors providing a selection of coffee/pastries, burgers, hotdogs, tacos, vegetarian food!
This is a leave no trace event – be prepared to pack out what you pack in
What not to bring
NO Sequins, feathers and other non-biodegradable items
NO Motorized vehicles (e.g. e-bikes)
NO Animals
NO Pyrotechnics, explosives, firearms, fireworks - absolutely prohibited
NO Personal Sound Systems

The 2026 Black Rabbit Campout is located on private land in South Algonquin, Ontario. The site is 165 km from Ottawa, 325km from Toronto, and 360km from Montreal.
It features 100-acres of beautiful, lush, forest. We have an abundance of nature trails, dozens of tree species, and a flowing creek.
Location & Driving details are provided to confirmed campers.Please note: there is no bus service to the land or nearest town. Campers are expected to drive/carpool.

Gates will open 11am on Friday and the festival runs until Sunday.
This year we are offering a Saturday noon entry pass. Access will be granted after 12noon until the end of the festival.
Gates close on Saturday at 12pm.
We are also offering a Sunday Night Movie Night Add-on which allows you to stay with us an extra night and not rush back home! -
Gates will open at 11am on Friday. they will close overnight on Friday (11pm) and Saturday (10pm).
There will be no vehicle re-entry without pre-approval in order to maintain the festival road.
Please do not try to arrive early unless you have an early entry pass.

Sundown on Sunday! The music will end around 5pm on Sunday and after that the crew need time and space to start tear down and clean up.
Don’t want to leave? Grab out Sunday Movie Night add-on pass and join us for an extra night and watch some movies under the stars! -
We will have vendors selling a variety of food. There will be vegetarian options available. Please bring cash for vendors!

Yes!
While we do have food vendors on site, we highly recommending packing for 3 days camping in the woods, including all the food and snacks you want for yourself (and maybe to share!).
Please bring enough water for the entire weekend as we do not have potable water available on site. -
Yes! Please bring your favourite drinks for yourself and even to share! Please NO GLASS, and use the recycling stations provided!
We will also be selling non-alcoholic cold drinks. No alcohol will be sold on site. -
This is a BYOW (Bring you own water) event! Please bring enough to manage 3 days in a potentially hot environment.

Yes! We are an easy 10 minute walk to a beautiful lake where many festival goers will spend their daytime cooling off! Feel free to bring your own water shoes, floaties, paddle boards and water toys!
This lake is on crown land so please be mindful of leaving it in pristine condition when you leave – leave no trace! -
We will have portapotties on site.

This is an outdoor festival in Canada so please come prepared for rain! However, we do have a number of covered areas, including at all stages, to keep the party going even if the heavens open!

No, tickets will be avalible I advanced and the camp our coordinates will only be sent to confirmed ticket holders.
Online sales will be live until gates close on Saturday night, however keep in mind that signal is limited/no existent at the site - if you decide last minute to come, buy your ticket online before you leave! -
We will not be offering day passes this year.
Instead, we are offering a Saturday entry pass for those who cannot make the entire weekend. This including Saturday and Sunday at the festival, including camping.
The gate is open at 12noon on Saturday for those arriving for one day.We will also be offered a $40 Sunday sleepover add-on!

No. This is an 18+ event. We love your little ones - but the campout is for responsible adults to party responsibly. Please leave the littles at home!

There will be a limited number of RV passes available. The rest of the festival is limitied car camping [add-on pass required] and general tent camping only.
