The 2027 Black Rabbit Campout is located on private land in South Algonquin, Ontario. The site is 165 km from Ottawa, 325km from Toronto, and 360km from Montreal.

It features 100-acres of beautiful, lush forest. We have an abundance of nature trails, dozens of tree species, and a flowing creek.

Location & Driving details are provided to confirmed campers. 

Please note: there is no bus service to the land or nearest town.  Campers are expected to drive/carpool.

Gates will open at 11am on Friday and the festival runs until Monday at 12 noon.

This year we are offering a Saturday noon entry pass. Access will be granted after 12 noon until the end of the festival.

Gates close on Saturday at 12 midnight.

For 2027, our Sunday Night Movie Night is included with GA tickets! Please stay with us an extra night and not rush back home!

Gates will open at 11am on Friday. They will close overnight on Friday (11pm) and Saturday (Midnight).

There will be no vehicle re-entry without pre-approval in order to maintain the festival road.

Please do not try to arrive early unless you have an early entry pass.

The music will end around 5pm on Sunday and after that we wind down for our Sunday Movie Night.

If you are leaving on Sunday, please do so before sundown to ensure safety on the roads.

If staying until Monday, we ask that you leave the site by noon.

We will have vendors selling a variety of food. Please bring cash for vendors!

While we do have food vendors on site, we highly recommend packing for 4 days/3 nights camping in the woods, including all the food and snacks you want for yourself (and maybe to share!).

Please bring enough water for the entire weekend as we do not have potable water available on site.

Yes! Please bring your favourite drinks for yourself and even to share! Please NO GLASS, and use the recycling stations provided!

We will also be selling non-alcoholic cold drinks. No alcohol will be sold on site.

This is a BYOW (Bring your own water) event! Please bring enough to manage 4 days in a potentially hot environment.

Yes! We are an easy 10 minute walk to a beautiful lake where many festival goers will spend their daytime cooling off!

Lake access will be scheduled throughout the weekend for BR2027 depending on weather and when a lifeguard is on duty. Updates will be shared in advance.

We will have portapotties on site and hot showers available for an additional fee.

Black Rabbit 2027 will have 3 STAGES.

Genres curated by White Rabbit / Spacecamp: House, all kinds - Funky, Afro, Chicago, Deep, Melodic, Progressive, Minimal, Bass House, Tech-house, Indie Dance, and a sprinkle of techno.

Each stage will have quiet hours.

This is an outdoor festival in Canada so please come prepared for rain! However, we do have a number of covered areas, including at all stages, to keep the party going even if the heavens open!

No, tickets will be available I advance, and the our coordinates will only be sent to confirmed ticket holders.

Online sales will be live until gates close on Saturday night, however keep in mind that signal is limited/non-existent at the site - if you decide last minute to come, buy your ticket online before you leave!

We will not be offering day passes this year.

Instead, we are offering a Saturday entry pass for those who cannot make the entire weekend. This includes Saturday and Sunday at the festival and camping until Monday.

The gate is open at 12 noon on Saturday for those arriving for one day.

No. This is an 18+ event. We love your little ones - but the campout is for responsible adults to party responsibly. Please leave the littles at home!

Pack, get excited and download/print your QR Codes for tickets and add-ons (RV pass, Car Camping, Glamping, Showers etc.)

Everything you need for a 4 days / 3 nights camping festival. We will be posting a packing guide closer to the event.

No. Bring battery packs if you need to charge your phone, or disconnect and enjoy the experience.

No. Bring a hand pump or a personal battery pack.

There will be a limited number of RV passes available. The rest of the festival is limited car camping [add-on pass required] and general tent camping only.

All workshops are included with your ticket! No extra or hidden fees here!

There will be bugs. Bring spray.

This is a leave no trace event. We also take safety very seriously.

Please DO NOT BRING:

• NO Sequins, feathers and other non-biodegradable items

• NO Motorized vehicles (e.g. e-bikes, ATVs)

• NO personal fires

• NO Animals

• NO Pyrotechnics, explosives, firearms, fireworks, or weapons of any kind - these are absolutely prohibited

• Sound Systems - renegade stages and sound systems are not allowed. This includes large portable speakers at your camp (if your camp neighbours can hear you… it’s too loud!)

No. Please leave Rover & Mittens at home!

Absolutely no renegade stages or sound systems are allowed at the festival or anywhere on site.

No, there is no wifi and no reliable cell service in the area. Plan to unplug for the entire weekend!

We will be able to assist in cases of emergency if needed. Please ask one of our volunteers!

Yes! For 2027 we are welcoming all GA ticket holders to stay with us Sunday night for movies and decompression before heading home by noon on Monday.

Our glamping package includes a personal campground, pre-set-up bell tent with a double air mattress and top sheet, and extra single mattresses available on request (email 10+ days before).
