About Jesney:
A Life in Sound and Art London-based Canadian DJ and producer Jesney has been part of the underground music scene since the late 1990s. His connection to music and art began early and has since become a way of life. Behind the decks, he plays from the heart, guiding audiences through the rich, evolving sounds of progressive techno.
Jesney’s thoughtful approach to track selection took shape during his time working at Toronto’s Eastern Bloc Records on Yonge Street. He went on to become a resident DJ for Rampant Entertainment at System Soundbar, building a style that has brought him onto line-ups alongside respected artists including Bart Skils, Julian Jeweil, Christian Smith, Pig and Dan, Jewel Kid and many more.
From Whitehorse to Cannes, Jesney has played across a range of settings and created memorable moments on dance floors around the world. Among the highlights of his career was his set at Ultra Festival 09, where his progressive techno sound reached one of his biggest crowds. His creative work also extends behind the scenes. Jesney is a co-partner and creative director of FGA Recordings, a record label based in Kitchener, Canada. His music is available on streaming platforms, with his latest releases issued through the label. Beyond music, Jesney is an established fine artist whose work is represented by the Benz Gallery in London and the Luminato Gallery in Toronto.
Whether performing at an event or displaying at an exhibition, he brings a distinctive artistic sensibility to each setting. Across sound and visual art, Jesney invites audiences to share in an experience shaped by creativity, connection and personal expression. https://www.mixcloud.com/jesney/
